The best saga ever! 4

How pleased I am to see again this mythic anime in a whole new remastered DVD edition. The six volumes are housed in a white elegant box featuring Earth Federal Forces symbol. The packaging is quite cheap.
But what is inside the dvds is just amazing!
The video, encoded at very high bitrate, is trully amazing, coloured, preciselly defined! There's also a japanese stereo audio track encoded at 448kbit/s, perfectly restaured.

A must have!

The one and only masterpiece... Pre Release Comment

In the year Universal Century 0079, people moves to the space to live in a colony. There, they declare independence from Earth Federation under the Principality of Zeon. Amuro Ray stumbles across the Earth Federation's secret weapon called Gundam. With it, he fights with Zeon to save his friends and for himself.

Gundam was a huge phenomenon and most influential seriesin Anime history. From Mazinger to Gundam, it became the prototype of all realistic, mature robot/mecha series.

Even today's Hollywood movies' ethos don't allow to have such great characters and adventurous stories like Gundam. Despite the outdated drawings, Gundam perfectly balances great characterization, stories, and intense battles by the mobile suits. Cleaverly directed by the great Yoshiyuki "Kill-em-All" Tomino, Gundam also contains with underlying philosophical themes and messages that even deals with today's issues on war. The war does not contain any simple good vs. evil conflict between the Zeon and the Earth Federation, which makes Gundam more complex and realistic as possible. Gundam is a true monumental Anime there is. Highly Recommended

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.

While this icon is displayed, dimensional weight applies to cover the extra postage required for sending the first press bonus poster for free.
