[David Gilmour Papersleeve Collection(6)] 構想から15年、遂に許諾・実現! ＜The Voice and Guitar of PINK FLOYD＞デヴィッド・ギルモアの73歳の誕生日2019年3月6日に合わせて、ソロ作品が初の紙ジャケ化&高品質BSCD2で発売! 今作は2017年作品。2016年『飛翔』発売後のワールドツアーの一環として2016年7月7日と8日に世界遺産となっている2000年以上前のローマ時代の石造りの歴史的建造物「ポンペイ円形闘技場」で行なわれたライヴ。ピンク・フロイド以来45年振りとなるもので、その歴史的なライヴをの興奮を余すところなく収録。ギルモアのキャリア全体を網羅し、ピンク・フロイドの名曲の数々を披露(21曲中13曲フロイド・ナンバー。「吹けよ風、呼べよ嵐」や「デブでよろよろの太陽」などのレアなフロイド・ナンバーも)。西暦1世紀にグラディエーター(剣闘士)たちが戦ったその場所に2,600人強の観衆が立ち、この円形闘技場で行われた史上初のロック・コンサートとなった。当時LPは限定でボックス仕様4枚組でリリースされていた。今回の紙ジャケではLPと同じ形態の三方背のボックス、見開きジャケット2種類、4種類の内袋、カラーブックレット、ポスターを再現する。 ●解説・歌詞・対訳付き ●オリジナルLPボックス仕様再現 ●見開きジャケット2セット ●内袋付き ●24ページブックレット ●2017マスター音源 ●初紙ジャケ化 ●初BSCD2化
