Hugely disappointed to see that the sleeves are not the exact replica of the original LP...instead we have a copy of the 2010s' vinyl 180g reissue.I expected a lot more from the usually excellent japanese vinyl replicas.

I have the 2008 SHM-CD release of this album, and i compared the sound of that to this new Blu-Spec CD2. In honesty i could not really tell if one was better than the other, both of them sound very similar. I loved the 2008 SHM-CD release and i love this just as much, the thing about this new Blu-Spec CD2 release is that you get it in a fantastic Mini LP! That made it a no-brainer for me. Great job Japan on the Mini Lp replica. I absolutley love Hendrix and there is only one! Get this , you won't be disappointed , it sounds great....smooth, clear and free of any digital (digitalitis) sound. Sounds very analog....It's killer! I'm so glad Japan came through on this release. Crank it up....Enjoy!
