2011年6月18日、脳卒中の合併症のため惜しくも69歳でこの世を去ったブルース・スプリングスティーンEストリート・バンドのサックス奏者、クラレンス・クレモンズ。追悼の意を込めて彼が全盛期1980年代に発売したソロアルバム3作を最新リマスター、ボーナストラック、紙ジャケ、高品質Blu-Spec CD(TM)という完璧な形で復刻。今作は1989年作品。前作同様ナラダ・マイケル・ウォルデンが全面参加。クラレンスのルーツを辿るカヴァー3曲、それをポップでファンキーなオリジナル曲で取り囲む。ブルースがライヴでよく演奏していたゲイリーUSボンズのカヴァー「Quarter To Three」が秀逸。プロデュース陣はナラダの他、ジェフ・べックで有名なヤン・ハマー、元プリンス・ファミリーのジェシー・ジョンソン、マイアミ・サウンド・マシーンのエミリオ・エステファンまで幅広い。ボーナストラックには7'シングルB-Sideのみに収録されていた〝Something Always Happens"を収録。(ロイ・ビタンのプロデュース。「レスキュー」のヴォーカリスト、ジェフリー・コーエンとの共作) 解説・歌詞・対訳付き。
