Oh My Ghost? - Watashi ga Akuryo ni Nattemo - / Gozonji! Ebi Chu Ondo

"Oh My Ghost? ~Watashi Ga Akuryo Ni Nattemo~" is the fifth and most popular of Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku's indie singles. It's pretty easy to see why, since it's a silly song with a sillier video about ghosts and zombies. Think of it as the Japanese pop answer to Michael Jackson's "Thriller". In this case the ten members of EbiChu (the short form of the group's name) take turns singing silly lines about kicking and punching ghosts (can you actually do that?) and how ghosts are not as scary as mom, dad and the classroom teacher! "Oh! My! God! Why don't you save me now?" cries Mirei Hoshina at one point. If I were God I would not let any ghost near you! "Gozonji! EbiChu Ondo" is the second track, and it's as silly as the first song, with a slow spoken intro by a male voice, followed by Aika Hirota's wonderful singing. Then a record scratches, and it turns into a wild-sounding dance song! Only EbiChu can do a song like this and make it work! Another recommended classic!
