原田知世の5年ぶりニューアルバム。『noon moon』とは、昼間の青い空に透けて見える月。プロデューサーは、ボサノヴァ・デュオnaomi&goroのギタリストとして活動する傍ら、作曲家/音楽プロデューサーとしても活躍している伊藤ゴロー。原田知世が手がける作詞の他に、作家/詩人の池澤夏樹氏が「名前が知りたい」の作詞で参加。「青空の月」には坂本龍一氏がキーボードで参加。光の当たる部分や見る位置、時期によって違う表情を見せていく「月」のように、様々なスタイルの曲が収められたこのアルバムは、大人のリスナー向けともいえるアコースティックなポップス。親しみやすいメロディーで、ちょっとノスタルジック。80年代のポップスへオマージュを捧げながらも、まさに今のサウンド。 ＜収録曲 (全10曲・曲順未定)＞ 青空の月/うたかたの恋/Double Rainbow/A Moment of Clarity/レモン/走る人/My Dear/LOVE/Brand New Day/名前が知りたい ※「LOVE」: 1997年『I Could be Free』収録曲のセルフカバー
