あの子はきっと 生まれ変わって 帰ってくる・・・桜をモチーフに、母と子の絆、生まれ変わりを描く感動作『桜、ふたたびの加奈子』が低価格版でリリース。 ――桜の季節。容子 (広末涼子)は、小学校入学を前にした娘・加奈子を不慮の事故で亡くしてしまう。自分を責め、思いつめた容子は、ある日から不思議なことを言い始める。「加奈子はここにいる」。夫の信樹 (稲垣吾郎)は、そんな容子を救い出したいと願いながらも、現実を受け入れようとしない容子に苛立ちを募らせる。「加奈子は、もういないんだ」。そう言い聞かせるが、容子は変わらなかった。そんな中、容子は正美 (福田麻由子)という女子高生と出会う。まだ高校生ながら、シングルマザーとして子供を産む決意をしていた正美。そんな正美をみて容子は直感する。「加奈子が生まれ変わって帰ってくる」。この一途な想いは、やがて、衝撃の事実とともに、二人を思いがけない出会いへと導いていく・・・。
