劇場公開から46年! 石原プロモーションの倉庫から発見され、2015年には初のテレビ放映が行われた、浅丘ルリ子主演映画『愛の化石』が遂にDVD化! 共演は高橋悦史、田宮二郎、寺尾聰、渚まゆみ、と豪華な顔ぶれ。監督は『私は貝になりたい』『いろはにほへと』(テレビ作品)を撮る岡本愛彦。 ――ベトナムの取材から帰国した、報道カメラマン日比野は、恋人の雑誌記者庄司ジュン子から用意された次の企画、沢由紀を撮る仕事に取り組んだ。由紀は今や、ヨーロッパ帰りのテキスタイルデザイナーとして、繊維メーカー・ロンシャンに専属、各方面から注目を浴びていた存在。日比野は由紀の背後にはローマにいるかつての恋人碧川とロンシャンの企画部長原田がいることを知った。日比野は連日、由紀を追いかけるが、ポーズをとる彼女がいやだった。ある日、由紀は碧川の帰国の報を聞き、探し回るのだが居所すら不明ですっかり憔悴した。さらに、ロンシャンがライバル社に対抗して、外国人デザイナーを起用し、由紀は事実上クビとなった。 ブックレット (あらすじ/解説)封入予定。
