原作は累計1700万部強の大人気コミックス「白鳥麗子でございます!」が20年ぶり3度目のドラマ&映画化! 3代目白鳥麗子にはまさにハマり役、生粋のニューヨーク育ちのリアルお嬢様・河北麻友子。麗子が片想いする哲也にはBOYS AND MENの水野勝。哲也に最強のライバル役として同じくBOYS AND MENで活躍する小林豊(「仮面ライダー鎧武/ガイム」)が登場、クールな御曹司キャラを演じる。一方で麗子のライバル的存在として昨年下半期のグラビア表紙登場回数No.1の久松郁実が出演。監督は「ワカコ酒」シリーズ、「火花」の久万真路。――同棲生活も順風満帆に、仲良く暮らしている麗子と哲也。ある日、麗子は哲也のバスケ部の合宿に付き添って二人の故郷である静岡県下田に帰省する。哲也の家族と会うことになりプロポーズ? とはしゃぐ麗子だったが、下田では白鳥家が関わるリゾート開発が計画され、哲也の父ら地元の漁師たちがその計画に反対、二人の家は対立関係にあった。麗子は開発を止めさせようと、パパに訴えるが・・・。約4時間という圧倒的なボリュームの特典ディスク(DVD)付きの2枚組。
