I am pretty new to the Prince of Tennis universe, and stumbled across the ending theme WHITELINE, and I just got to have it! Not fully aware of the group itself, I decided to pick this album out of many based on the strength of WHITELINE, was really surprised how great the album turned out. The group Aozu, as fans may know, is actually made up of four main characters' voice artists. The album starts off well: Track 1 is easy listening at its best with a piano based background intertwined with electric guitar, upbeat yet soothing. Track 2 & 3 offers intriguing vocal arrangements. Track 4 really grew on me, went from my least favorite to one of my favorites, it has a very lighthearted take. Track 5 is the huge surprise, this track alone is worth the price of the whole album. I fell in love with it in an instant, it is hyper fast paced, superbly arranged and intricate, it's my default gym song. If you start off the day with this song, it will make you feel that you can take on anything! I'd say it's in the twist genre, they just don't make music this good anymore...(at least not in North America) Track 6 is the superb WHITELINE, I got this album because of it, of course I love it. Track 7 is a decent track with a Jazz feel to wrap it all up. I love this album so such so that I have two more from the Price of Tennis series on the way. Anyway, hope you enjoy this album as much as I do!
