First Live DVD 5

This DVD has the essence of what early Moi dix Mois was like. It's basic in terms of amount of content and packaging compared to the other DVDs but very much worth it for the Moi dix Mois fan.

Dix Infernal 5

The quality of this DVD is much better than that in youtube. Although Mana didn't have any facial expression (this is his usual style) during the concert, his outlook, music talent and live performance are really amazing! In this DVD, Juka also played an indispensable role in Moi dix Mois. I was deeply attracted by every move he made on stage. When I watched this DVD, I could feel that Juka was 100% devoted himself to the concerts. Although he was a new comer in the music industry in Japan at the time of the performance, it appeared to the audience that he was a shining star on stage. I could say that Juka's voice is a mixture of "soft" and "hard". Furthermore, Juka's image is very attractive - his height is 1.8m, his weight is 54 kgs & his beatiful eye make-up. I think that's why Juka was chosen by Mana as the vocalist for his band. All in all, the performance of Moi dix Mois in this DVD is marvelous. If you are a fan of Moi dix Mois/Mana Sama/Juka, it's a "Value for Money" collector's item.

I really like this dvd. It's very good quality and the concert is great!

M....A.....N....A.... 4

This is my first Moi Dix Mois live encounter, after getting their 4 albums, two of which containing all their singles, too. I love European bonuses. =)

Anyway, this concert features all songs from Dix Infernal and Dialogue Symphonie single, and a few "new" (in 2003) tracks such as Pageant, MAd iNgrAin (Mana's moment), Spiral (Kaz's moment) and Night Breed.

I found the light to be decent. Nothing too stunning, but you're able to see the band members pretty well. The show isn't that energetic, but the songs are performed well. The songs from Dix Infernal sound alike quite a bit, but if you can stand that, you have quite a lovely gig ahead.

I find it nice how new bands with only one album out can already release a full live concert DVD with 15 to 35 songs, depending on the length of the songs and the length of the gig itself.

Mana's project is definately making a nice start with this, and later on it gets even more interesting...with the addition of K, Sugiya, Hayato and Seth. I hope they will release a live DVD of their latest Fated Raison D'etre tour as well. =) Wishful thinking...

Nice 3

The concert is quite good. The only disappointing performance is Juka's, who sings great in studio releases but not so good in concerts, probably because he's still a newcomer and needs more experience. Mana, Tohru and Kazuno did a very good job, but the whole concert is a bit boring because of the songs, which are really too similar and sound quite boring after a while. The new tracks featured in this concert are really good, showing new elements and atmosphere. Bonus contents are really poor this time, but overall the product is worth the money.

Scars of Sabbath 5

This dvd contains footage of their live, on September 27th, 2003, at Shibuya-AX. Moi Dix Mois plays all songs of their album "Dix Infernal", including some songs that we could not find on albums or singles at the time this dvd was released.

I can say I was honestly impressed by the concert on this dvd. This is the first live performance I have seen of Moi Dix Mois, and they are very impressive.

Juka, the vocalist, definitely knows how to perform live, his voice is truly amazing. Hearing him on cd is one thing, hearing him sing live blew me away!

The bassist, Kazuno, also proved he knows what he is doing. The song Spiral is his moment of fame and has an amazing bassline.

Throughout the concert they are dressed in black clothes, but for the encore they wear white robes over their clothes. Mana also changed his guitar to a beautiful white one covered in 'blood spatters'.

This dvd also has some extra features. Two of them are 'memoirs' from other lives and one is an 'off-shot'. All are really interesting to watch.

The quality of the image and sound is perfect as well. Thumbs up!
