Description
[Machine Translation] [King Vintage Jazz Collector's Edition] This is a live album at Sankei Hall in Tokyo, released the following year on the heels of his first leader album in 1958. Joja Masubuchi played bongos and congas, and Nobuo Hara and the Sharps and Flats, who were close friends of Hideo Shiraki, appeared on the album as friends. The album is full of highlights, such as Louis Bellson's furious drum solo introduction in "Skin Deep" and the long conga and drum solo in "On a Slow Boat to China. The liner notes for the original version were written by Ohashi Kioizumi.

[キング・ヴィンテージ・ジャズ・コレクターズ・エディション] 1958年の初リーダー作の余勢を駆って、翌年にリリースされた東京・産経ホールにおけるライヴ・アルバム。ジョーヤ増淵がボンゴとコンガで参加のほか、白木秀雄と親交の深かった原信夫とシャープス・アンド・フラッツも友情出演している。ルイ・ベルソンの「スキン・ディープ」での怒涛のドラム・ソロのイントロ、「オン・ア・スロー・ボート・トゥ・チャイナ」でのコンガとドラムの長尺ソロと、聴きどころも満載。オリジナル盤のライナーノートは大橋巨泉が担当。
