Bought this album as I loved the song hishoku no Sora and Radiance. Though the rest of the song wasnt fast beat like those 2, they were still very enjoyable. Great first album from Kawada Mami

The trance splendor of 'Roots' makes a strong first impression yet doesn't set the tone of the album. Seed (the album) is balanced by equal parts trance, pop and ballad; and throughout its 12 tracks, Kawada-san truly shows her versatility in both lyrical and vocal styling. 'Radiance' was my first foray into her music and as such holds a special meaning for me. However, 'Seed' is the album's strongest song and a much better song overall (and indicative of her growth as an artist): its medium tempo and quiet rhythm allow her voice to take center stage and indeed 'Seed' relies on the strengths of her voice to make it more than just another pop ballad. 'Hishoku no Sora' and 'Immoral' are also excellent examples of her growth. I look forward to Kawada-san's future projects.
I really like the PV of this album, every scene is so beautiful and elegant. My favourite songs are 'roots', 'seed' and 'precious'. 'precious' is written by Orito Shinji, the person who wrote the famous 'tori no uta'.
