This album is a wonderful, eclectic mix of almost every instrument you can imagine in an attempt to remind you of your childhood. You don't have to read the Yotsubato! manga to understand this music. This CD is a soundtrack to an anime that doesn't exist, so in a way that's amazing too. Some tracks fall flat, but those are balanced with amazing tracks like my favorite, "Oyasumi nasai" (the second to last track). If you liked the soundtrack to Azumanga Daioh you will probably like this just as much.
