Makkun delivers again. I am never unimpressed with her work, and this is another album that just builds upon this impression. With energy and passion that is put into her music, ranging from the rampent beat of GOD SPEED to the softer but more seductive beat of RED, Masami Okui still holds the position of the being one of the best at the top of the Jrock Scene!
I don't think Masami could release bad material if she tried to! "GODSPEED" delievers up-tempo, energetic tracks such as "Wild Cat" "Timeliness" and "TRUST". Check her out rapping in "Subliminal"! And what Makkun album would be complete without her touching balleds? "Red" and "Gift" are sure to please. Overall, a beautiful album with great engery! Goes to show even after 12 yrs Masami is still one of Japan's best artists.
