一冊の本が紡いだ、たくさんの絆。映画最新作『図書館戦争 THE LAST MISSION』の10/10公開を記念して、10月5日に放送されたドラマ特別企画『図書館戦争 BOOK OF MEMORIES』が、早くもBlu-rayでリリース! 前作『図書館戦争』と最新作『図書館戦争 THE LAST MISSION』の間にあたるエピソード。岡田准一、榮倉奈々、田中圭、福士蒼汰、栗山千明に加え、松坂桃李、中村蒼、土屋太鳳が登場! 佐藤信介監督をはじめ、脚本・野木亜紀子、音楽・髙見優などスタッフも映画チームが集結! ――関東図書基地で図書特殊部隊(通称・タスクフォース)に所属する笠原郁(榮倉奈々)は、検閲で取り上げられそうになった大事な本を取り返してくれた図書隊員を追って戦闘職であるタスクフォースとなった。堂上班に配属され、鬼教官である堂上篤(岡田准一)の罵倒にもシゴキにも耐え、顔も覚えていない"王子様"を捜している。なのに、なぜか堂上のことが気になり始めている自分に戸惑いも感じる日々。ある日、郁は図書館で聴覚障害のある女子高生・中澤毬江(土屋太鳳)と知り合う。毬江は堂上班の先輩・小牧幹久(田中圭)の幼馴染で、小牧にお薦めの本を教えてもらって読んでいるという。毬江の中に小牧へのほのかな恋心を感じ取った郁。その頃、図書館の窓口業務をする柴崎麻子(栗山千明)は、朝比奈修二(中村蒼)と名乗る学芸員の男性と頻繁に会うようになっていた。麻子のことが気になっている手塚光(福士蒼汰)は複雑な心境だ。そんな時、小牧が検閲機関である良化隊に突然身柄を拘束され・・・。
