The rock band rice is composed of Yuki Sakurai (vocals) and Kazuhiro Murata (drums). Since its formation in April 2001, the band has been boldly and sometimes delicately exploring the boundaries of rock with beautiful Japanese lyrics and a sound that unfolds on a grand scale, advocating new ways for audiences to enjoy music. In 2007, the band toured extensively throughout Asia and Europe, and their Bonds Rock=rice formula has become a cornerstone of their sound creation that has garnered attention from around the world.
