I had been looking forward to this one. Amaterasu sounds more like a rockband than ever before. The darkwave elements are still present, but it has a lot more rock feel to it. They have a backing band, too. Two drummers, bassist, and apparently a VJ also. The picture quality is good, nice and clear. The sound is good. The singer isn't the best I've heard, but his worst moments are few and they don't ruin the fun. The guitarist plays a lot of nice solo's, so if that's your thing, you'll like this. They're quite Japanese, what with their outfits and all, as well. Kimonos and stuff. Well, I'm not quite sure what else to say. It's not as mind-blowing as I expected, but it definately isn't bad or even below average. Well worth my money. =3

溢れる熱気、響き渡る大歓声、盛大な拍手...そして涙。ファンと刻んだ生きた証、天照の最後のワンマンライブ映像がDVDでいよいよリリース! 2006年9月20日に発表されたファーストアルバム「天翔星使」と新曲「彩」の相乗効果により右肩上がりに人気を上げていった天照。そんな彼等が2006年11月22日のツアーファイナルの会場 渋谷CLUB QUATTROにて突如「活動休止」を発表。ビジュアル・シーンや天照ファンの驚きと衝撃が覚めないまま、2007年1月からワンマンツアー「天照昇華」を決行し、全箇所ソールドアウトで幕を降ろした。本作品は1月26日(金)に行われた渋谷O-EASTでのワンマンツアーのグランド・フィナーレの模様をアンコールまで余す所無く全20曲収録した貴重な映像DVDです。当日は1000人を越える超満員の観客の中で、ファーストアルバムからの楽曲だけでなく、公式には音源化されていない天照ファンの間で人気のある「まほろば」、「刻の絆」、「JESUSCLEANSING」等も演奏。さらに和太鼓奏者や尺八奏者もゲスト参加し、ラストにふさわしい演出、内容の濃いライブになっています。当日会場で時間を共有したファンにとっても、その場に来られなかったファンにとっても、絶対持っていたい永久保存盤のコレクターズアイテムです!
