沖縄から、生まれ故郷の滋賀に拠点を移して、はや9ヶ月。その名を全国へと響かすべく放った渾身の1stアルバム!今作品では持ち前のファンキーなサウンドはもちろん、バラードからラウドロックのニュアンスまで取り入れ、さらなる幅の広がりを見せた。また、よりメッセージ性の強くなった詞にも注目。それでも「やっぱりW-D4!」というサウンドで、エンターテイメント性の高い作品に仕上がった。持ち前の関西キャラ(滋賀)でライブ以外にもラジオなどで強烈な印象をアピール!作品としては約2年ぶりとなるが、2012年の夏以降、拠点を沖縄から滋賀に移してイナズマロックフェス出演を皮切りにライブツアー、レギュラーラジオ番組などをこなし、バンドとしてのクオリティを格段にアップしてきた。ノリのいいサウンドに乗せる軽快なラップ、聞きやすいメロディー。時に激しく、時に優しい。ジャンルにとらわれないスタイルのW-D4がわかる一曲。押し曲 2/ thankful 聴き所 どんなに躓いても立ち上がってきた。それも応援してくれた皆がいたから!「ありがとう」の気持ちを素直に歌にのせた一曲。2008年8月に結成、翌年2009年には拠点を沖縄に移しライブを始め、レギュラーラジオや野外フェスに出演、自主制作デモCDも完売。同年11月には琉美音楽祭でグランプリを受賞。2011年7月には第25回シーポートちゃたんインディーズミュージックコンテストにて準グランプリ獲得。同月第29回ピースフルラブロックフェスティバル2011の出演を果たした。2012年8月には、全国へ活動すべく活動拠点を生まれ故郷の滋賀県に移し、同年9月に開催されたイナズマロックフェス2012のエンタメステージの出演を果たすなど、全国各地でで『WD'sCREW』(ファンの人達)急増中で益々これからの活動が期待されるW-D4。ついに1thフルアルバム『Light』を2013年4月21日にリリース!今年も、W-D4 story から目が離せない。。。
