Pegmap's greatest appeal, the charisma of the band's vocalist Yamamoto, has influenced many musicians across genres such as hardcore, punk, emo, and post-rock, and has also attracted responses from live house managers who are at the bottom of the music industry. 初ライブは2003年夏。中高の同級生で結成以後、下北沢、新宿、渋谷を中心にライブ活動を行う。ライブハウス渋谷CYCLONE店長の新レーベルObrienより第一弾アーティストとして2006年12月に1stアルバム『HAVE A NICE DAY』でインディーズデビュー。翌年8月に2ndアルバム『see you』を同レーベルより発売し、タワーレコード渋谷店のインディーズチャート初登場3位を獲得。全国30ヶ所でsee yourelease tourを行い、ツアーファイナルは渋谷CYCLONEにて初ワンマンをSOLD OUTさせ成功を収める。2009年前任ギターの脱退により、kutsukakeが加入し新生pegmapとし楽曲制作に入る。4年前にリリースした1st, 2ndの両アルバムは共に3000枚以上のセールスを記録し、未だ現在でもバックオーダーが絶える事がない。その要因の一つとして現代若者の浮遊層を中心につぶやかれる鬱ロックと呼ばれる叙情的ロックの代表として、ネット社会で語り継がれ、非常にコアなファン層が常に増殖して止まない。またsyrup 16gのフォロアーとしても崇められている事実もその要因の一つである。Pegmapの最大の魅力、Vo山本のカリスマ性は、ハードコア、パンク、エモ、ポストロックといった、ジャンルの枠をこえた数多くのミュージシャンに影響をあたえ、音楽業界の底辺ともいえるライブハウス店長方からのレスポンスも非常に多い。そして本年、pegmap再始動!!を掲げ今年2月19(土)に渋谷CYCLONEにてplentyとpocketlifeを迎え3MAN復活イヴェントを開催しSOLD OUT。その翌日、2月20日には約4年振りとなる新曲デザートをItunes先行配信限定音源として配信開始。そして4月ライブ会場&IMC限定4曲入りEPCOME BACK epを発売し(IMCセールスランキング初登場2位獲得)全国TOURを開始いたしました。さらに8月には待望の3rd full albumの発売を予定しております。2007年の2nd album発売以降、メンバーチェンジ等もあり表立った活動を控えておりましたpegmap本格的再始動いたします。M1.touch M3.土曜日 pegmap実に4年ぶりの音源。これぞpegmap!と言わんばかりのM1.touch,M2,リセッ
