この度DIAURAが、2nd Single「ImperialCORE」を急遽発売する事となった。急遽発売が決まったにも関わらず、最高の一枚「ImperialCORE」がこの世に産み落とされた。毎回、彼等の楽曲の冒頭に入るSEも楽しみの一つである。今回のSE-C.O.R.E-からも雰囲気が漂う。そこから、「ImperialCORE」へと一気に畳み掛ける。イントロから佳衣のリフが唸りを上げ、メンバー加入後の勇が翔也との心地良いグルーヴを支える。最後の最後に上から振り翳し、突き放すかのようなyo-kaの力強く艷やかなメロディーがのる。彼の独特なメッセージ性強い歌詞も注目の一つだ!「結晶」は今までの作品を遥かに上回る切ない楽曲である。頭からこう来るかという彼等の多彩な表現方法には驚かされた。正式メンバー4人での処女作ともあり、今までとは異なる意思が強く、そして、深く詰まった楽曲とも呼べるであろう。目を閉じてこの楽曲に酔いしれて欲しいと強く思った。これまでの「独裁」と言う名を掲げ加速してきた彼等から更なる、核の部分へと吐き出された言葉は「ImperialCORE」帝国の芯=まさに「己の心髄」とも言える作品である。 (葵 加奈)
