哀川翔主演ミュージカル「HEADS UP!」の劇中歌「再戦終わっちゃいねえぜ」のCD音源化。本人は約25年ぶりとなるCDリリース。日々頑張って戦う男性にもう一度立ち上がり鼓舞する応援歌。表題曲「再戦終わっちゃいねえぜ」は、軽快でリズミカルな楽曲にのった哀川翔の揺るぎない強い志が込められた歌声。M1、M2、M4はラサール石井氏が作詞、哀川翔が放つ男の生き様や情に厚い人間味が惜しみなく表現されてる。M2は玉置浩二氏と星勝氏といった往年の伝説のコンビが手がけ、奇跡の名曲が誕生した。M3はかつて1989にリリースされて哀川翔のアルバム「チンピラたちのララバイ」より、長渕剛氏が補作として参加した楽曲「俺たちの迷い」を再録した作品。約29年の時を経て時代を超えても伝わる男の憂いが蘇る。M4は個人的にも交流のある若旦那氏(form湘南乃風)が楽曲提供。こちらも個人のプライベートを知っている仲間どうしならではの新たなコラボレーションとなっている。
