[角川シネマコレクション2016年 8月度: 原節子特集] 若い女教師と子どもたちの心のふれあい。あなたの心に美しく明るい感激の灯をともす感動作。――東京のはずれにある明風小学校の校庭の片隅には、子供たちが遊ぶ池がある。この池を管理する6年2組の担任・雨宮加代子は、最近池の鯉が盗まれたり、同時に子供たちの間で野蛮な言葉がはやり、賭け事をしたりするものもいることを知り、心を痛めていた。ある日、雨宮は、浮浪児の常治が、PTAの有力者・原島の息子・敏彦はじめ、一部の児童に悪影響を与えていることを知るのだが・・・。
