Description

February 28, 2006 Maiko High School in Hyogo Prefecture became the site of surprising story. Gackt had been a regular on the Nippon Hoso late night broadcast program when he received a letter from a distraught young man. The young man was a student in the only environmental distaster prevention program in all of Japan, however the program itself was at risk due to lack of participants, and the boy asked the program for advice. Both having experienced the Kobe earthquake firsthand, and agreeing with the need for preparedness and the curriculum of Maiko High, Gackt sent them the response, "First, become that great person that people can look to learn about the appeal of distaster pervention class." Later the boy wrote Gackt that the class had managed to add enough people to the class . . . And that he would very much like to have Gackt come to the school's graduation ceremony.

One year later, on February 28, 2006, Gackt decided to surprise his listener with a completely secret appearance at school graduation ceremony where he performed his own songs live and spoke to them words of encouragement. Due to overwhelming response from Gackt's fans, the unreleased track that Gackt performed at the school is coming to CD! With lyrics reminiscing of Gackt's time in school, and a message that overcomes the borders of countries, Gackt's new song is a moving new track full of emotion. Limited edition includes bonus DVD with the music video for "No ni Saku Hana no Yo ni." Also includes piano score (with guitar chords) for the song!

*Note Limited edition w/DVD and regular edition feature different jacket designs.
*Unless otherwise indicated, DVDs are region-2 encoded (Japan, Europe, and Middle East), and carry no subtitles.

Beautiful. 5

As one comes to expect from Gackt, the music is beautiful, and I adore the inclusion of the title song's piano score.

Touching Song 5

This song is beautifull, I admit it, I cry a little.
I love Gackt's slow song, because I feel well when I listen to it .

Awesome! 5

This song was created for a special event and this make it very special! Beside that, it's a great ballad, and the cover is so cool! The PV moves to tears...

Not what some expect. 4

A very pretty song, with some equally pleasing remixes on the single. The special addition comes with a tab sheet of the song, complete with lyrics.

One of his slower ballads, though still pleasing for most any Gackt fan.

An excellent song. 5

This is an excellent soft composition by Gackt. If you're more of a fan of Gackt's hard rock compositions, stray away from this single, and turn to Yami no Shuen instead. This is pure softness.

Personally, I love all of Gackt's work, but his soft acoustic songs draw me closer than his heavy rock.

Again, an excellent song, with a nice cover art. But nor for everyone.

very nice single 4

This is a great song indeed. Gackt's releasign very nice itens, with lots of extras that make it worth buying.

Not One of Gackt's Best 2

If you're a Gackt fan who must collect EVERYTHING Gackt releases, by all means, buy this single.

If you're a Gackt fan who has limited funds and can only collect the real gems, save your money.

This single is, for lack of a better word, rather boring. That might be because I got out of high school years ago and so it is not at all relevant to me but I think it's because this song feels a bit uninspired after 2005's "Love Letter" (yeah, it's been two years, but still, that was an entire album of acoustic ballads like this).

I'm not a music expert but from my novice's ear, there isn't a whole lot of complex skill at work here, just another dull ballad that attempts (keyword) to tug at nostalgic heartstrings. The Pianoforte C/W at least has a little variety to it with Gackt skillfully working in Pachelbel's Canon but... it's just not that special.

If you really like beautiful acoustic work, try Gackt's "Tsuki no Uta" of "Last Song" (especially for its B-side, "Solitary").

beautiful!! 5

Very nice!!! The box is so cool!! and inside there's the "no ni saku hana no you ni" piano tab!!! sugeee!!!!

Beautiful Cover and Wonderful Song 5

Although I prefer Gackt's rock songs, this song is not that bad and the lyrics are very meaningful. I think it's worth to buy it as an collection.

Pretty but not noteworthy 3

This single was pretty. Gackt's vocals are always something to behold, but this is nothing new for him and the bonus tracks are rather indistinguishable from each other.
