neolog December's Love Song? Try December's ONLY Song. 5

For some reason there is nothing I like better at the holidays than that blend of melancholy + hopeful that few people can nail just right. One of these is Inaba Koshi of B'z with his violently wonderful Itsuka No Merry Christmas. The other master of the craft is the all-time pop king GACKT.

I believe that if you buy his "£±£²·ī¤ĪLove Song", you should be sent a packet of tissues with the GACKT crest on them. Even the hardest heart cannot resist the paradoxical snowy warmth of this perfect single, and male, female, young, old... if you're not sobbing into your eggnog by the time the track ends...I just....you need help.

This single, which has to be one of THE most translated and performed-in-multiple-languages songs on earth has captured with incredible clarity and ease the gentleness, sweetness, and dash of sadness that always seems to be imbued into romantics during the last few months of the year.
A time of change, hope, and positive intention are all deeply set into the tenderness of the lyrics, melody, and effects of GACKT's seasonal masterpiece.

GACKT really gives his all in composition on "12Gatsu no Love Song" as well, including major orchestration, acoustics, violin, subtle chorus accompaniment, and impressive, magical theatrics in the performance. However, despite being a major production, the simplicity and tenderness of the song cannot be matched, and a bottle of whiskey couldn't make you feel this warm on a cold night.

Gackt old/masterpiece 5

This song, from beggining to the end is exellent. It is saying to love every one, to remember all people, lovers or not.
One of Gackts best songs, for sure!
I like it more English ( Gackt can really good speak langauges ) but for it's fast ritmic made for japanese language, you can't very well hear what is about if you don't have lyrics ( you have it here ;) ) but you will get for a time, anyway is more pleasent to hear Gackt english, so soft, loveless! Melody is very good either.
For some Valentine Day or Marry Christams gift is perfect!

Wonderful song 5

I love this song, both the Japanese and English versions. I do so appreciate his efforts in singing in other languages, although I'll be honest in saying I didn't understand in some parts, but also, since this came out, from what I understand, his english has improved. In any case though, it's a wonderful song performed by a wonderful man. I really enjoy it, and I loved the little calendar that came with it, even though it's over six years old, but hey, it's a very nice picture of Gackt, so that's ok :) I hope others enjoy this cd as much as I do:)

Amazing 5

This was the first time I had ever heard Gackt sing English, and I was very impressed by it. Excluding a few minor grammar mistakes, it is certain from this album that Gackt's English is coming right along. Beautiful song for the Christmas season.

I personally like this song's lyric; also, Gackt's voice is very fabulous. This is a very very good song. Gackt always produces such a quality song for us!

12Gatsu no Love song 5

What can I say... This single is excellent. It all started with the original 12Gatsu no Love song. This one just included the English version, which happens to be the reason I bought it. ;)

The main song is just slightly remixed from the previous. Possibly different use of instruments and such. The original released in 2001 will always triumph of course.

love the love song 5

A very beautiful single! I've heard the song before, that's why I bought it. This has the English verson of "juuni gastu no love song" which is "December's love." it's just the same melody with a change in lyrics to suit English. although Gackt's Enlgish is less than perfect, it makes me laugh to hear him. The last track is intrumental, in case anyone out there can sing like Gackt? Anyway. . . it's a soft, sweet ballad that I really love.
