Box VI 5

This was a happy box. I loved watching the behind the scenes with all their playful antics. It brings to life them as people and not just artists. While not trying to sound too much of a fan, I always wonder how they live in the real world without getting hounded and still enjoy life. Happy people make others happy.

Stylish 4

First of all, the metal tray is up there with the quality of the previous Platinum box gifts, definitely a beautiful item to have. Secondly, the DVD is rather the same as always - some PVs, some making of material, and then some additionalities. Nice if you enjoy watching Gackt, but I wouldn't buy the box just for the DVD, without the interest for the gift.

this dvd is a must for all gackt fan! the gift with this platinum box is gorgeous: a beautiful metal tray with the moon symbol ^^ and the concert at venus fort isa beautfiul gackt doing snowboarding and playing with child is so cuuute !!!!!

Excellent stuff. Love the extra event footage and making-ofs. The metal tray is really decorative and quite beautiful.

Expensive Yet Excellent 5

As has become the norm with Gackt's yearly Platinum Box offerings, a collection of music videos and behind-the-scenes footage comes packaged with a solid and attractive metal tin in a hard box that stands up better to handling and wear than those used previously. Of the music videos, all are good and several are excellent (most especially "Last Song"). What's really special in this set is the rare footage of Gackt performing a Valentines Day concert at the Venus Fort shopping compound in Tokyo. Singing with his usual passion, and accompanied not only by members of the GacktJob but also several classically trained string musicians, this unusual video showcases several of the wonderful songs from Gackt's 'Love Letter' album, which were rarely performed and not filmed anywhere else (with the exception of the title song, performed at the 2005 Christmas live at the Tokyo Dome). If you have a fondness for the 'Love Letter' album, this footage makes the purchase worthwhile just by itself.

Also noteworthy is the metal tin tray, which could be used as an ashtray but is far too nice. Combined with the other features, it makes this Platinum Box a wonderful gift for anyone (yourself included!).

A must have DVD. Buy it and you won't repent.

There are 6 region codes. Typically, DVD players sold in one region is compatible only with DVD titles that are encoded for that region.

Blu-ray

Blu-ray titles are playable only on Blu-ray players. They are not playable on conventional DVD players or HD DVD players. There are 3 region codes for Blu-rays as listed below, which are different from DVD region codes.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
