舞台「GOZEN-狂乱の剣-」 / 舞台
映画と舞台を完全連動させる新プロジェクト【東映ムビ×ステ】、その第1弾『GOZEN』。8人の男たちが臨む命懸けの御前試合。その壮絶な攻防と、出場する武芸者たちの秘めた想い・切ないドラマが、映画と舞台を通じて鮮烈に描かれていく。そして2019年9月。映画『GOZEN-純恋の剣-』(7月5日公開)に端を発した宿命の物語は、舞台『GOZEN-狂乱の剣-』(東京・大阪にて上演)で、より鮮やかに咲き乱れる! ――府月藩・藩主の嫡男・望月八弥斗は、 他国への修行から帰国して驚いた。元気だったはずの父が急病で死んだと聞かされたのだ。そして藩主の座に就いたのは父の弟・望月甲斐正であり、母・朝霧はその妻になったという。ショックを受け、失意の八弥斗。その心の支えは、恋人の小松原奈奈だけだった。奈奈は、父である家老・小松原烈山の反対を押し切り、八弥斗に寄り添うのだった。その頃、城内に亡霊が出るという噂が流れる。噂を聞いて豪胆にも会いに行った八弥斗は、その亡霊は父で、その死が弟・甲斐正の手による暗殺だったと聞かされる。八弥斗は甲斐正への「復讐」を決意するが・・・。
