"血沸き肉躍る、男たち渇望の映画"が誕生した。昭和63年。暴力団対策法成立直前の広島の架空都市・呉原を舞台に、刑事、やくざ、そして女が、それぞれの正義と矜持を胸に、生き残りを賭けて戦う生き様を描いた映画『孤狼の血』。原作は第69回日本推理作家協会賞を受賞した柚月裕子著のベストセラー小説(角川文庫刊)。主演は役所広司。共演に松坂桃李、江口洋介、真木よう子、竹野内豊、ピエール瀧、中村獅童、石橋蓮司ら、日本屈指の俳優陣による演技合戦がスクリーンに炸裂する。――昭和63年。暴力団対策法成立直前の広島・呉原―。そこは、未だ暴力団組織が割拠し、新たに進出してきた広島の巨大組織・五十子会系の「加古村組」と地場の暴力団「尾谷組」との抗争の火種が燻り始めていた。そんな中、「加古村組」関連企業の金融会社社員が失踪する。失踪を殺人事件と見たマル暴のベテラン刑事・大上と新人刑事・日岡は事件解決の為に奔走するが、やくざの抗争が正義も愛も金も、すべてを呑み込んでいく・・・。警察組織の目論み、大上自身に向けられた黒い疑惑、様々な欲望をむき出しにして、暴力団と警察を巻き込んだ血で血を洗う報復合戦が起ころうとしていた・・・。
