"好きなことを追い続ける大切さ""支えてくれる人の存在"を描いた、愛と幸福の物語! 夢を追いかける夫婦の物語! ――裕福な家に生まれた少年の真知寿(まちす)は"画家になる"夢を持っていた。しかし突然両親が亡くなり、環境が一変してしまう。ひとりぼっちになった真知寿は、画家になることだけを人生の指針として生きるしかなくなった。そんな愛に見放された真知寿の前に、ひとりの理解者が現れる。絵を描くことしか知らない彼の純朴さに心惹かれた幸子である。やがてふたりは結ばれ、真知寿の夢は夫婦の夢となった。愛と希望に満たされ、様々なアートに挑戦するふたり。しかし作品は全く評価されない。ふたりの創作活動は、街や警察をも巻き込むほどにエスカレートしていき、家庭崩壊の危機にまで直面してしまう・・・。うまくいかなくても前に進むしかない人生の中で、ふたりが確かに手にしたものは・・・。
