1. Availability and Preorder Deadlines
This product initially became available for preorders on February 16, but it sold out immediately as only a strictly limited quantity was going to be released. However, due to very popular demands, the record company will manufacture more of it based on the quantity of preorders they receive before the deadlines as listed below.

First Deadline: March 3, 2009 (to be fulfilled on April 7)
Second Deadline: March 11, 2009 (to be fulfilled on April 23)

**Previously, we listed March 25, 2009 as the release date for this product, but we changed it to April 23, 2009.

Preorders processed before the first deadline will be fulfilled on April 7, and one that are processed before the second deadline will be fulfilled on April 23. Only preorders processed on February 16 will be fulfilled on March 25, the release date listed for this product. Please note that it will take 1-4 days following these dates before the order actually becomes available for shipping, and it may also take additional time depending on the amount of orders that they actually receive.

2. Product Details
For preorders that were processed on February 16, before it sold out, USB will come housed in a yellow case. However, for preorders processed afterwards, it will come housed in a transparent case.

Even though this great product is back again due to popular demands, the record company will only release an exact quantity based on preorders they receive before the deadlines. So, hurry and preorder it soon!

Memorial tenth album release from Ayumi Hamasaki in USB memory stick! Encore edition comes in clear case (subject to change). This USB stick contains her 13 new songs, six music videos, and lyrics data of the album on non-erasable area (details subject to change) and the USB Memory stick comes in a shape of Ayu's logo. Also includes a chain that enables you to wear the stick as a pendant. Rest of the capacity of the memory enables to use as a normal USB memory (1.3GB approx.).

neolog Pricey but sastified for an ayu fan 3

The usb-memory itself is quite good in quality, somehow the mp4 video quality is abit disappointing (they should give us better PV quality, I don't think that the capacity of the usb-memory is an issue). And I prefer the physical booklet thing rather than PDF format booklet.
Overall, it is still worth to collect if you are an ayu fan. Cheers

neolog Ayu's NEXT LEVEL! 5

Ayumi's 10th studio album "NEXT LEVEL" is really something new.

She also takes releasing an album to the next level by packaging it in a USB!

The USB is the her 10th anniversary logo, it is beautiful! When I first saw photos of the USB I thought the USB was decorated with fake crystals or whatever but when I recieved it, it was actually glitter. Still very nice though!

To my surprise the intros in the album was not as bad as I expected. It was really enjoyable to listen too.

NEXT LEVEL - This song is has a very upbeat, cheerful, cute-ish feel. It is a song that is very relaxing, has a summer feel to it too. The music video the song was crap though. (4.5/5)

EnergizE - I love the beat for this song but once when she started singing in english in the beginning kind of ruined the song. The song has a upbeat and a pretty happy feel to it. (4/5)

Sparkle - One of my favorite songs from the album. The song is something different from the old songs that she has done in the past but I love it. The music video is also something new. I LOLed when I saw her in one part in the music video. (5/5)

rollin - I love how they synced her voice in the verses. It's another upbeat song that kind of falls in the dance, electric genre I guess like Sparkle.

GREEN - Ayu's first single off the album. The song has a very asian feel to it that I love. It is also something different from what Ayu has done in the past. One of the tracks I really enjoy. The song kept on growing on me. The music video took a crap load of money to produce but it really did not seem like it did but it is a very nice music video. (5/5)

identity - I did't really pay attention to this song because it doesn't appeal to me much not because it's a bad song or anything. I just don't like it but it seems like people really like this song. (3/5)

Rule - Second single off her album and the theme song for Dragonball Z. I didn't like this song when I first heard it but the song grew on me and now I like it. Ayu did some dancing in the music video! (4/5)

LOVE'n'HATE - I like this song alot espically the beginning but I'm not a fan of the chorus. It's another upbeat song. (4/5)

Days - Another song from her first single off the album. It's a very winter ballad. I love the chorus and bridge, the only thing I didn't like was how she sung the first verse of the song in the beginning. It's one of best ballads (released as a single) since HEAVEN probably. The music video is also very nice. (5/5)

Curtain Calls - I do not like this song. No matter how many times I force myself to listen to it, I just don't like it. The way she sings it, everytime she holds her vocals she has to make it vibrate (vibrato?). It just annoys me.

But the near end of the song did save it from being a total disaster. The lyrics also saved this song from being a total disaster. The lyrics were simple but yet very deep.

The music video was boring. (3/5)

Next Level USB Pendant 5

I was more than surprised to see that 'Next Level' would be released on USB and more than happy that I was able to order one of the encore editions (as the first edition was sold out way too fast).
The pendant is pretty beyond words and really makes a wonderful accessory when worn with the included chain. Not to forget the additional 1.3GB space. A lovely item for any Ayu fan.

Es una manera muy conveniente de traer la musica de Ayumi consigo y su mismo diseno luce muy bien. En la oficina tambien gustaron mucho del mismo y lo deseaban (pero ya estaban agotados). :p

Como en Mexico no se pueden comprar usualmente sus productos, les recomiendo lo hagan aqui, pues esta tienda nunca me ha quedado mal en todo el tiempo que he sido su cliente.

There is nothing else to add.

It's beautiful, so beautiful that I will probably offer it to a true fan among my friends as a b-day or X-mas present. Therefore, I did not open it.

I have the Cd version of the album, and I am not specifically fond of the songs of that album, which is an easy shot to me. As I told before in the review concerning the album, she should stop for a while and take care of herself and of her voice, and come back with a nice voice and a lot of renewed creativity.

Even if it is hard to leave the scene for 1 or 2 years in Japan...

Bad luck. Pre Release Comment

Bad luck guys, I've already ordered my copy but this is a re-stocking, so I doubt there'd be a second re-stocking. Unfortunately they only made 70,000 USBs or something, so this was probably your last chance.

Good luck digging one up on eBay though, whomever the psycho that decides to sell his may be.

SACD (Super Audio CD)

SACDs are playable only on SACD players, and will not play on regular CD players. On the other hand, SACD Hybrid disc has a layer that is playable also on regular CD payers. Such titles are indicated as "Format: SACD-Hybrid" in item details page.
