前作アルバム『F'sシネマ』から3年近い歳月を経て、待望のニュー・アルバムのリリースが決定！ タイトルは『Life is Beautiful』。人生の節目を迎え、人生を改めて見つめなおすというフミヤの真摯な気持ちが様々な形で反映された1枚となる。2010年夏頃から書きためては丁寧に磨きあげてきた楽曲を中心に構成された今作は、全13曲中半数近い6曲がフミヤ自身の作曲によるもの。さらに歌詞に関しては、GOING UNDER GROUND河野丈洋のカバー(「点線」)、および2005年のアルバム『奇妙な果実』に向けて提供された河口恭吾作の「君に会えてよかった」を新たな視点でリメイク共作した作品を除き、すべてフミヤが書き下ろしている。様々なアーティストとのコラボアルバムなどを経て、久々にシンガー&ソングライターとして原点に立ち返ったアルバムとも言える。フミヤ以外の作家陣に名を連ねるのは、亀田誠治、藤井尚之、増本直樹といった面々。初のフミヤ作品参加となる亀田誠治は、計3曲のサウンドプロデュースも手掛け、アルバムにポップな華やぎを添えている。 【初回生産限定盤】 CD + DVD + BOOK [トールサイズデジブック仕様予定] ※BOOKは約40Pのスペシャルマガジン仕様を予定
