M1「徒然モノクローム」は、4月から放送開始となるフジテレビ"ノイタミナ"アニメ『つり球』オープニングテーマとして書き下ろされた、フジファブリック節全開の屈折青春ソング。『つり球』は、監督: 中村健治(「モノノ怪」「空中ブランコ」「C」)xキャラクターデザイン:宇木敦哉(「センコロール」)×制作:A-1 Pictures (「あの日見た花の名前を僕達はまだ知らない。」)の豪華タッグで送り出すオリジナルアニメーションとして注目の作品。あの「夜明けのBEAT」で「モテキ」シリーズと絶妙なマッチングを見せたフジファブリックが手掛ける初のアニメ・タイアップ曲となる。一方、M2「流線形」は4月からのポッキーチョコレート スペースシャワーTVバージョンCFソングに決定した、キラキラで疾走感溢れるスペイシーなポップチューン。M3には、「モテキ的音楽のススメ Covers for MTK Lovers盤」に提供した小沢健二の名曲カバー「ぼくらが旅に出る理由」を収録。
