STAR OCEAN Till the End Of Time (Star Ocean 3) -Voice Mix Album

This is a great album though I didn't think it was going to be. I thought I would give it a try since I love and trust Sakuraba's composing. I was a little put off at first because whenever I see the word 'Mix' in an album title, I think I'm going to get some awful horrible synthesised instruments and sounds that belong in a reject dance night club. Thankfully that's not what this album is. Just more wonderful alterations to original SO3 music- some with completely new bits in, much longer and much more entertaining. Sure SO3 has some futuristic instruments from electric devices but that's normal to portray certain scenes. There's such a variation of different tunes that you aren't overloaded with one style. In this voice arranged album, the longer, different songs are accompanied by the voice talents from the Japanese game. They add to the emotion of the piece and whenever I listen to it my imagination takes over. The voices do not take over the music nor vice versa, it is simply cleverly arranged music and voices in balance. And very enjoyable. Some make me feel sad, some make me laugh, some make me happy or thoughtful. That's the sign of a true artist. Buy it. ^___^
