Ta no Hito to Tabi no Hito

[Machine Translation] Formed in 2012 by guitarist Seitaka Enomoto (ex. LOST IN TIME) and singer/songwriter Sachiko Ito. In April 2014, they released their first full album "Aoyakakana Toumei" from Nomadic Records, based in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture. The jacket art is based on a Japanese picture book. The cover art was drawn by Ryoji Arai, one of Japan's leading picture book artists. The album is a collection of songs that the duo has captured from their hearts and minds, from their daily life to the scenery of their travels, the starry sky at a children's camp, and the shocking scenes of Tomioka-machi, Fukushima Prefecture, which was left empty after the nuclear power plant accident. After the release of the album, they have been touring and performing at festivals, as well as playing over 150 shows a year, including their self-produced "The Complete Folklore Collection of the 21st Century," delivering their creations as if they were selling produce grown in a field. The harmony of their unique voices, and the acoustic warmth of their guitar and piano music, all of which are modeled after people and towns, move people's hearts as folklore of this era. In the early summer of 2016, he released his second full-length album, "Paddy Field People and Travelers," reflecting the towns and people he encountered during his long musical journey and the recordings of his own activities in his songs. Self-recorded at his home studio (huenica studio) and his private studio in Dogo, Ehime Prefecture (Village Hototoguiss studio), the album is a gem that focuses on the texture of every single note. LOST IN TIME)とシンガーソングライター伊藤サチコの2人により結成。『普段の生活圏と、その空気感も音楽に取り込み、奥行きと親しみやすさ、かつ斬新な切り口で旅先に音楽を届ける』というテーマで年150本超のツアーをまわる。2014年4月、福島県いわき市に拠点を置くNomadic Recordsから1st.Fullアルバム『あざやかなとうめい』をリリース。ジャケットアートは日本を代表する絵本作家、荒井良二氏が描く。このアルバムは身近なことから旅の景色、こどもキャンプでの星空、原発事故によって誰もいなくなった福島県富岡町の衝撃的な光景など、2人がまっすぐな目線で心に映し込んだそのままを新しい楽曲に変えて、音や言葉の細部に至るまでこだわった一枚である。リリース後はツアーやフェス出演、自主企画の『21世紀のフォークロア全集』も含めて年間150本超のライブで全国をまわり、畑で育てた農産物を売り歩くように、作った物をそのまま手渡しで届けてきた。独特な声質の2人が重ねるハーモニー、ギターとピアノだけによるアコースティックな温もりから生まれる緻密な音楽は、すべてモデルとなる人物や街が存在し、この時代のフォークロア(民間伝承)として、人々の心を動かしている。1st.アルバム発売から2年、長い音楽の旅を経て、その中で出逢う街や人々の暮らし、自らの活動記録を曲に反映させ、2016年初夏、2nd Full album『田の人と旅の人』をリリース。自宅スタジオ(huenica Studio)と、愛媛県道後のプライベートスタジオ(Village Hototoguiss studio)でのセルフレコーディングで、一音の質感に至るまでこだわった逸品に仕上がった。アートワークは前作に引き続き,日本を代表する絵本作家、荒井良二氏が担当。OTOTOYにて先行試聴&ハイレゾ配信、インタビュー特設ページ掲載予定
