Sachi Tainaka's first album is a good debut, but it might not be for everyone. Like the previous commenter said, the songs from Fate/Stay night have a slow orchestral/symphonic arrangement. I liked the single version of "disillusion" a lot, which was my main motivation to get this album, and I was a little disappointed. On the other hand, "saikou no kataomoi" is great. It's a relaxing song with plenty of acoustic guitar and piano, and some high notes which Sachi hits perfectly. This was the first single Sachi penned, and has established her sound and style since then. The other songs don't stand out as much melody-wise, even though Sachi's strong singing is great throughout. I recommend this album to fans of Sachi's voice, who don't mind melodies so much, or people who are looking specifically for her first 4 singles.

Customer Reviews
I was love-struck with her second album that I bought for "itoshii hito e" from "seirei no moribito", and I thought that her first album could be as great as her second. I'm a little disappointed. sure, there's "happy song" and "saikou no kataomoi", but the others songs don't sound as good. for the fate/staywhatevernight fans out there, a bit of warning : the song "symphony of fate" which combine "disillusion" and "kirameku namida wa hoshi ni", is slow-paced and symphonic, much different from the songs of "fate/whatever" I heard in karaokes and on the mini-DVD of my "love is..." first edition CD (and I like the fast-paced versions better) I still like her voice and some of the songs on this album, but seems like she needed a little bit more time to find her true style, so I recommend buying her second album instead. unless you already know a specific song on this album and want it.
