    Cute... 5

This is a very good debut single from misono. My favorite track would have to be VS, a cool, techno-sounding dance number to which misono wrote the lyrics herself. The second song, "Garasu no Kutsu"--"Glass Slippers"--isn't my favorite song ever, but it's cute and misono definitely gets points for writing AND composing the song herself. She's so much better than her big sis Kumi, let me tell you that.

    Wonderful CD! 5

Perfect for a first impression on Misono! ^_^ Yes, I do miss the wonderful instrumentals that Daisuke and Kitano made in DAT, but this single was the perfect solo debut for young Missy. n_n Must-have!

Looks like that apple was poisonous... 2

Overall - After adoring Day After Tomorrow, I was surprised to hear misono's solo works. Was I expecting a DAT sound? To be honest, yes. Her solo single may be disappointing for DAT fans, but it isn't exactly a shining debut for non-fans either. Two and half stars. Track-by-Track - 1. VS. The best way I can think to describe this track is "techno with rock influences". The song is overproduced. The vocals sound like a computer impersonating misono. It tries to be a dance track, but the beat isn't naturally danceable. The main thing you'll hear is the lackluster bass beat. All the other parts in the instrumental take a back seat to that horrid loop. This is disappointing; misono has a beautiful voice and this song just strips her of any good sound. Two stars. 2. Gurasu no Kutsu/Glass Shoes. And as if to appease her former fans, they throw on an acoustic ballad as a b-side. This track is heaven sent after the fist song. However, this track lacks any true spark. It's a typical ballad. I give it points for actually being able to hear misono sing and not some computer enhanced misono. Two and half stars.
