Hikari no Kazu dake, Glamorous [CD+DVD]

I initially bought this cd because I saw that Beni had her own version of the Kim Possible OP, Call Me, Beep Me. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really enjoyed the rest of the single as well. I only gave it a 4, though, because the karaoke tracks are really instrumental and don't include BG vocals: 1. Hikari no Kazu Dake Glamorous- A nice island-y feel to it. Pretty simple song, mellow, but catchy after a few rounds. 2. THE POWER- What the title says, a powerful vocal piece sung in English and Japanese. Very good song! 3. CALL ME, BEEP ME!- (Disney TV [Kim Possible] OP) Better version than the original! 4. Hikari no Kazu Dake Glamorous (Karaoke)- Instrumental 5. THE POWER (Karaoke)- Instrumental DVD 1. Hikari no Kazu Dake Glamorous- PV

She is wonderful. I first heard her when she was premiered on Radio Disney performing her version of "Call Me, Beep Me." first performed by Christina Millian. I instantly had to buy it as her version was, in my opinion better. I expected myself just listening to that one song, but actually found myself going through every single one. There are a total of 5 tracks, three being vocalized and two being instrumentals. The tracks include: 1. Hikari no Kazu Dake 2. THE POWER 3. CALL ME, BEEP ME! 4. Hikari no Kazu Dake 5. THE POWER She has an R&B or Hip Hop type sound, it's every interesting. I recommend listening to Hikari no Kazu Dake first, it doesn't really demonstrate her abilities that well, but I enjoy the nice island feel it gives off with the help of the timpani and...those oil drum things...THE POWER kicks in mid-tempo but quickly transitions to a hard fast beat, this song was sung during Half Time at the NFL Tokyo show, definatly one My favourites. Then CALL ME, BEEP ME! If you're a fan of Kuda Komi or Chrystal Kay, Beni Arashiro will be something that'll be a great addition into your collection.
