中村勘九郎 × 中村七之助 × 尾上松也 歌舞伎の次世代を担う三人が出演! 即日完売となった話題の舞台、コクーン歌舞伎「三人吉三」がシネマ歌舞伎に登場。今回は、本公演で演出・美術を担当した串田和美が監督を務め、編集に編集を重ねてブラッシュアップ。ライブで舞台を観た方にも全く違う演劇作品として感じて貰えるよう、また勿論、舞台を観ていない方にも新しい映像作品として楽しんで頂けるようにと、 新たな演出を加えた撮影や、普段は入れない舞台袖等にカメラが潜入し、映像や音にこだわり抜いた、かつて無い「シアトリカルムービー」が誕生。――節分の夜、同じ吉三の名を持つ三人の盗賊が出会い、義兄弟の血盃を交わす――僧侶崩れの和尚吉三、男に生まれながらも振袖姿のお嬢吉三、浪人のお坊吉三。数奇な運命に導かれ翻弄されながらも、がむしゃらに命を賭して生きる三人。名刀「庚申丸」と「百両の金」が様々な人の手を巡りもたらす悲劇の連鎖・・・。
