”GOTCHAROCKA”待望のニューシングルリリース!MV収録したDVD付き限定盤と、限定盤には入らない楽曲を収録した通常盤の2タイプ発売!エモーショナルなギターサウンドに、高低差のある情緒溢れるメロディーが印象的な「Ash」。どこか陰りのある前向きな歌に聞こえるのは、疾走感のあるアレンジが日々の時間の経過の儚さをより想像させるからであろう。カップリングの「...ムリでした」はタイトルからの予想を覆す女性目線からのバラード。そして通常盤にしか入らない「SHE LUVS ”POPSTAR‘'」は日常の捻くれた感情を面白おかしく歌ったライブでも盛り上がりそうなナンバー。三曲を通して思うのは、このシングルで彼らのやりたい進むべき方向が改めて定まったようにも聞こえ、一曲一曲により説得力が増したということ。もちろん今回もトータルプロデューサーに迎えるは岡野ハジメ氏。間違いなく前作からの進化を感じる一作であろう。
