"Tabidachi no Hi ni" ("The Day Of Departure") is the final single for the three oldest girls in the group, Muto Ayami, Miyoshi Ayaka and Matsui Airi. It is a sad piano ballad about graduating and moving on to the next stage in life. It may make sensitive fans cry a bit. I think it is extremely beautiful and should be listened to by all fans of soft and sweet music. The second track is a "J-MIX" version, with certain parts of the song sped up, and with additional instruments. Ayami, Ayaka and Airi all get brief solos. The third track is the bizarre "Planet Episode 008", which is about visiting other planets. The song has multiple time changes and musical styles, and makes me smile when I listen to it. There are also instrumentals for all three songs. Also included is an All Region DVD with music videos for the two versions of "Tabidachi no Hi ni". I was pleased to learn that the DVD plays fine on my Region 1 DVD player. The videos are very beautiful, and the final shot in the second video made tear up. This is Sakura Gakuin's best single since their first!
