沖縄県に生まれ米軍基地に囲まれて育ったROACH。誇れる島で在りながら矛盾に溢れる島沖縄。Vo.taamaが感じて来た沖縄の誇りと矛盾が詰まった真実のアルバム「OKINAMERICA」がここに完成!M1.LINE-小さな島の国境線-では、FLiPボーカル サチコ がゲストコーラス参加。プロフィール 2003年沖縄にて結成。2度に渡る日本武道館公演(天嘉-伍-/JACK IN THE BOX2007) 、Indepence-D2007、SUMMER SONIC07等に出演後、しばらくの間沖縄県内のみで活動。その後、台湾公演・USツアーを成功させ待望の本州での活動を本格的に再開。2012年2月には2nd mini album「No Reason in the Pit」をミヤ(MUCC)、左迅(ギルガメッシュ)をゲストに迎え発表。 4月にはNIRVANA「NEVERMIND」トリビュートにONEOK ROCKや9mm Parabellum Bullet、10 FEET、SiMらと共に参加。 リリースツアーではAugust Burns Red(US)/JOB FOR A COWBOY(US)/ANDREW W.K.(US)/HOPES DIELAST(ITALY) といった海外アーティストの来日公演をサポートする。 6月28日にO-WESTにて行われたツアーファイナルワンマンライブはSOLD OUT!8月9月にはRed Bull Live On The Roadの名古屋会場と大阪会場にGOOD4NOTHINGやUZUMAKIらと共にゲスト参加。9月22日からは沖縄出身アーティストを集めた自主企画「098-TOUR」を桜坂セントラルを皮切りに恵比寿LIQUID ROOM、 大阪CLUB DROPと3都市にて開催。 そして前作から8ヶ月、沖縄生まれ米軍基地に囲まれて育った環境の中で育まれたアイデンティティーを詰め込んだ3rd mini album「OKINAMERICA」を10月3日に発売!
