── 始業式の朝。古都鎌倉の中学に通う関ケンジを待っていたのは、ふたつの"出会い"だった。ひとつは、密かに好意を寄せていた、生徒会書記・春河カホリとの心弾ませる遭遇。彼女と朝の海で初めて言葉を交わすことになったケンジは有頂天に。そんなケンジを幼なじみでカホリの友人でもある涼浦ナツキは複雑な思いで見守る。そしてもうひとつの出会いは、高台で桜の花びら受けながら、まるで風を操るように立っていた少年との心ざわめかせる遭遇。その少年に何か不思議なものを感じるケンジ。そしてその少年との再会は思ったより早く訪れる。ケンジたちのクラスにやってきた、転校生・京極リョウイチ、彼こそがその少年だった。ケンジ、ナツキ、カホリのいるクラスに現れた京極は、次第にクラスに溶け込んでいきながら、一方で何かクラスメートの持つ雰囲気と相容れないものを漂わせる。そしてそんな京極にひそかに惹かれ始めるカホリ。やがて学園では不思議な出来事が起こり始める。この不思議な出来事がケンジ、ナツキ、カホリだけではなく、生徒会の面々、担任の先生、ケンジの祖父である関耕児、そして不登校を続けていた山際ゆりこなど皆を巻き込んでいく。そしてその中で明らかになっていく、それぞれの心の想い。幼なじみでずっと一緒だったケンジとナツキの距離感も変わり始める。京極は果たして、何者なのか。そして学園では何が起ころうとしているのか。伝えたい、伝わらない、それぞれの様々な思いが、学園で起きる事件に奇跡を呼び起こす。純粋に人を想う心、伝えたいと願う気持ちが、今と未来を繋いだ時、彼らに訪れた現実は・・・。
