デビュー10周年を記念して発表されたRie fuのアルバム2作連続リリース企画の第2弾。2014年にリリースされた『I』に続き、今作のタイトルは『O』。合わせて『IO』と"10"の数が浮かび上がる。1年半かけて作られたこの作品のテーマは"OUTSIDE"。2015年には中国やインドネシアなどでアジアツアーを行い、2014年に移住したシンガポールをはじめ10カ国以上への旅をしたRie fu。それらのインスピレーションを、レトロと新しさがミックスされた自由なサウンドと、海外で実感した"母国語で繋がる大切さ"を軸に綴られる日本語を中心とした歌詞に込めた1枚。
