[AOR誕生40周年記念 AOR CITY 1000] 元祖AORといわれるボズ・スキャッグス『シルク・ディグリーズ』発売40周年 ! 今なお人気が高い70～80年代のAOR作品をお求めやすい「千円」で発売 ! シリーズ監修はLight Mellowで知られる金澤寿和氏。大瀧詠一『A LONG VACATION』で知られるイラスト界の巨匠・永井博氏が本シリーズの共通アートワークを提供。 ◇1941年、デトロイト出身。モータウンを中心に多くのヒット曲を書き、プロデュースしてきた黄金のトリオ、ホランド=ドジャー=ホランドの一員としてあまりにも有名なラモント・ドジャー。1973年にソングライター・チームを解消し、ソロ・アーティストとしてデビューした。本作はコロムビアに残した唯一の作品で、全曲のプロデュース/ソングライトを自らで行い、西海岸の優秀なソウル～ジャズ系のスタジオ・ミュージシャンがバックを固めた力作。お得意のノーザン・ソウル風の躍動するビートを洗練された80年代スタイルに昇華した、オープニングの「クール・ミー・アウト」からご機嫌なナンバーが続く。 ◆期間生産限定盤 (2018年3月31日まで) / AOR誕生40周年記念 / ライナーノーツ / オリジナル発売日: 1981年
