Growlanser II - Original Soundtrack

The Growlanser II OST is a great addition to the CD collection of any game music fan. All the BGMs are here (that I can remember). The CD contains 29 tracks and runs 50 minutes and 48 seconds. If you have to have vocals on your CD then sadly this one is not for you. But if you are like me and you enjoy the music as you play along (and it gets stuck in your head) this is right up your alley. My favorite tracks are 7,12,13, and 14, which are all from different battles during the story. I also like track number 24, which reminds me of classic RPG interlude music. It reminds me of the old Turbo Graphics 16 (or PC Engine in Japan) games. I remember this particular track being used when the characters were engaged in lighthearted conversations. Track 29 is the prettiest track. It starts out up-beat but then goes soft and mellow. It reminds me of the soft music played for the ending credits of the Rurouni Kenshin first OVA. Even the song that Wein plays on his ocarina is included. The booklet contains some information about the story and characters. There are also pictures of all the main characters. My copy also included a glossy sticker of the picture on the CD cover. Very nice!
