2018年はバンド初の有期限活動休止からスタートさせたMUCC。新曲制作と並行し、過去に制作してきた未発表のデモ曲を掘り起こした。そこには世に出されない曲たちが過去の物と葬られたと恨み、妬んでいた・・・。そんな曲たちの思いを、MUCC流のホラーパンクにラウドロック、インダストリアル、シューゲイザー、ダブ、ポストロックなどをクロスオーバーさせ、さらにピアノをフィーチャーしたコンセプトアルバムを完成させた。
