"月という名の太陽を殺した男が、今目覚める・・・" 白き鋼の身体を持つ不死身の男。その名はキャシャーン!! 1978年にTVアニメとして放送され、そのシリアスな作風で傑作と評価され、2004年には実写映画が大ヒットとなった"キャシャーン"が、テレビアニメ完全新作として復活。アニメーション制作は、日本を代表するアニメスタジオマッドハウスが担当。監督には「聖闘士星矢」「ドラゴンボールZ」など、大胆な構成が魅力の山内重保が参加。シリーズ構成は「仮面ライダー龍騎」「仮面ライダー電王」の小林靖子、キャラクターデザインは「花より男子」「おジャ魔女どれみ」「蟲師」で活躍の馬越嘉彦ら人気スタッフが集結。第22話から第24話まで収録の第8巻。
