What can I say about this album, that doesn't need the words: Amazig, spectacular, stunning, beautiful. As teh first major ablum release, I was completely blown away by the amount of evidence Angela Aki provides to her musical talent. The composition of the songs through layering and the push and pull of melody and harmony grabbed me and hasnt' let go. Her voice is powerful, but not overbearing. I like that she doesn't present herself or her music as some pop idol. The album is just "honest". There are no lies attached to marketing or the music. The honesty behind is makes me consider it as worthwhile. Worthwhile music is always a welcome change. people complain about her covers, but I like that she has a signature look to her covers. I immediately know it's her work and I appreciate the subtle changes that are present. She doesn't need flashy photoshop imagery to sell her music. Her music sells itself.

This is one of the best CDs I've ever bought. And I've bought plenty. I love every single track. Especially the last track. Angela Aki has a great voice, and a great talent for composing and playing the piano. All the songs are piano songs (with of course other instruments but piano is the main instrument), and it's a nice refreshing change from the other mainstream songs. Buy this and you'll not be disappointed! The only complain I have got is that perhaps she can change the CD cover style already? It seemed like she's using photos from the same photoshoot for all her singles and this too. XDD But still, that doesn't affect how awesome this album is. =^^=

Angela Aki has got a really nice voice - she sings 'Kiss me goodbye' (from Final Fantasy XII) really well - one can feel the mood, and relate to the sadness in the song and the show. 'This Love' (from Blood+) is another good song. The limited edition also comes with a nicely produced DVD, complete with a clip of screenshots from FFXII. Good! Recommended!
