ソロ名義最初のリリースとなったPHOTO BOOK+DVD『film A moment』 (2011)を経て、ソロでのバンドスタイルの集大成サウンドをいきなり提示してみせた1st album『flowering』 (2012)。凛として時雨すべての中枢であるTKが、スリーピースバンド=時雨の枠から自らを意識的に解き放ち、ダイナミックなリズム隊にピアノや弦などの繊細な音色も交えた圧倒的な作品を生みだした。2013年、初の夏フェス出演や個性的なアーティスト陣とのツーマンライブを積み重ね、遂にリリースされる1st EPは、これまで以上に多彩なポップセンスに彩られた作品となる。新曲3曲は、すべてこのEPのために新たに書き下ろされたもの。さらに、"より自分自身の声と向き合うために"2014年2月～3月に開催が発表された初の弾き語りワンマンツアーとも呼応するものとして、これまでにゲストボーカルとしてもライブ参加した事のある初恋の嵐のカバー曲や、凛として時雨の楽曲の弾き語りセルフカバーもボーナス収録予定。
