灼熱の孤島で生死を駈けた運命の戦いが今、始まる――。 藤原竜也・松田龍平・水原希子という豪華出演人、更に仲野茂、永山絢斗、板尾創路、大楠道代ら豊田作品ならではの豪華なキャストが脇を固めた、豊田利晃監督が描く渾身の一作! ――新興宗教団体"ライフイズビューティフル"の若き三代目教祖・吉野ルイ (藤原竜也)は、祖父からの継承だけで教祖となり、空虚な毎日を過ごしていた。ある夜、謎の美女・流美(水原希子)に出逢い一瞬で彼女に魅かれていくルイ。しかし、ドライブで暴走した2人の車はバイクと衝突、ルイは奇跡的に軽傷ですんだが、相手は即死、流美は生死を彷徨う。事故のことを知った教団の幹部であるルイの母 (大楠道代)と姉(原田麻由)は教団の存亡を危惧し、事故のもみ消しに躍起になる。そこでルイを南海の孤島へ逃避させ、警護のため3人のボディガード (松田龍平・仲野茂・永山絢斗)が雇われる。いびつな家族とルイの行動に、不思議と次第に興味を惹かれていく新野 (松田龍平)。一方、自ら「死」に直面し、初めて生きる意味を知りったルイは教団を辞める決意をするが、それは同時に教団に背くことを意味していた。そして、ボディガードの新野たちに教団から新たな指令が下された・・・。
